Barneys New York in Beverly Hills had its $78 "Hashish" candles in Jonathan Adler pots, Los Angeles had its THC Expo hemp and art show, Showtime had its fifth season of "Weeds." This was a big year for pot.
"The stoner is the new drunk," said Robert Thompson, a professor of television and pop culture at the University of Syracuse S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, in an August article.
